It is slightly tapered and features a strong integrated neodymium magnet.\r\n\r\nRemove your top cap, insert the Quick Drop into the steerer from above, and push the fork downward. As the fork slides down, the tool stays into the steer tube being held by the tight tolerances and the magnet.\r\n\r\nYou can guide the fork down or lightly pull it while the tool follows smoothly into the headset and frame, holding bearings, spacers, and stem in position.\r\n\r\nThe lower bearing may stay on the fork during removal. If using the Top + Bottom Kit, place that bearing onto the bottom piece, reinsert both parts into the frame, align them, then rotate 180° to lock the system together.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic tip also makes reinstallation easier.
